RDS Engine Upgrade Managed the end to end change process for upgrading all Platform RDS Database Engines:

MySQL 5.7 -> MySQL 8.0
PostgreSQL 11&12 -> PostgreSQL 13.7

Facilitated communication, testing, and IaC changes.

EKS Platform Provisioned, configured, and maintained, AWS cloud infrastructure on behalf of containerized application development teams. Championed the implementation of Graviton instances for RDS customers. Delivered cost savings via an RDS Reserved Instance coverage strategy.

Enterprise Software Supported the agile development of medical device tracking software to be used enterprise wide. Conducted requirements gathering, agile ceremonies, and user interviews.

Technology Leadership Development Program (TLDP)

August 2021 - Present

Rotation 4: Technology Enablement - Developing and deploying cloud agnostic deployment templates with VRealize Automation, YAML, Git, Jenkins, and Terraform. Supporting internal development and cloud operations teams through standardized models and processes.

Rotation 3: Digital Health Platform Team - Supported EKS containerized application development platform. Oversaw the change management of an RDS Engine and Instance Class Upgrade. Implemented Reserved RDS Instances for platform customer saving $50K.

Rotation 2: Clinical IT Data & Reporting - Enabled Safety Event Notification Reporting for upcoming clinical trials. Facilitated requirements gathering, testing, and quality documentation for more than 10 reports.

Rotation 1: Global Medical Device Tracking - Agile team member developing enterprise grade device tracking software in the role of a Business Analyst. Performed user interviews, Scrum ceremonies, and documentation.
